The Healing Power Of Nature

About

Beth Connelly had her spiritual awakening in 2008 while she was in school for cosmetology. She began going to meditation groups, psychic development classes, healing circles, crystal bowl meditations, and whatever else she could find in relation to the healing arts.

After receiving Reiki for many years,  Beth took her level 1 and level 2 training in 2012. During her Reiki 2 initiation, she received a clear message to go to massage school and learn the anatomy of the body to help individuals move stagnant energy.

Within two months of the Reiki 2 initiation, she put in her notice at her hairstyling job, packed her car, said goodbye to family and friends and drove across the country to Arizona. She enrolled at the esteemed Sedona School Of Massage and obtained a world class education. To this day she loves her job as a massage therapist and has never looked back!

In 2013 she bought her first quartz crystal bowl at the Tuscon gem show. It wasn't until around 3 years later (after preaching about detachment) when she broke that bowl, which inspired her to get her first 7 note set. For several years before the pandemic she regularly co-hosted new moon and full moon sound healing ceremonies.

In 2014 she completed her Reiki Master Teacher training while living in Sedona. Over the years she has retaken all the Reiki levels multiple times, with Reiki masters; Meg Shapleigh of Sedona, AZ, Joanne Kelleher of Toms River, NJ, and Malia Murphy of Long Beach Island, NJ.

Thereafter, Beth has taught many Reiki classes and hosted various Reiki Shares.

Beth has an extensive background in Yoga. She completed her first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 at Rishikul Yogshala in Rishikesh, India where she lived in an Ashram, and got to learn the tradition of Yoga. Her second Yoga Teacher Training was a 200 hour program in 2018, outside of Quito, Ecuador at Durga's Tiger School. There, she studied Tantra Yoga, Andean cosmovision, and Shamanism. Her third Yoga Teacher Training was a 300 hour program in Cali, Colombia at Ishka Kankueb Yoga Ashram. She studied under Carlos Holguin, a Mayan Shaman, who created the program to integrate the traditional Eastern yogic ways, with the ancient ways of the Mayans.

Beth's true passion is music and sound healing. She is a proud partner and distributor of Crystal Tones Worldwide, who produce the highest quality crystal bowls in the world. Her personal set include bowls made out of Ruby, Emerald, Smoky quartz, Moldavite, Sedona Red Rock and more. She also plays guitar, harmonium, shamanic drum, and loves to sing and chant Sanskrit mantras and medicine songs. She recently got initiated as a sacred drum carrier after making a medicine drum out of the hide of a Reindeer, at a retreat in the Arctic Circle. She truly believes in the power of vibrational sound healing in all forms.

Her other hobbies include; traveling, practicing Yoga, playing mantra and medicine music for the classes at her favorite studios; Hot or Not Yoga (Manahawkin, NJ), & Yoga Bohemia (Long Beach Island, NJ), studying astrology with her teacher Gaia from Awaken Academy, participating in online soul circles with Sea Goddess Healing Arts, and practicing The Sri Hanuman Chalisa with Govindas and Rama Chandra Das from Bhakti Yoga Shala. She considers herself to be a Bhakti Yogi- a person of devotion and service. She is currently enrolled in a 12 week Lucid dreaming course with Awaken Academy as well.
